Access to the Crypto.js API is retricted to secure origins (which is to say https:// pages). Since I'm not hosting this web application on a site with a SSL certificate, you'll have to manually label my site as secure on your browser.


If you're using Chrome or Brave:


  1. Type chrome://flags/#unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure or brave://flags/#unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure in your address bar
  2. Add my website http://rogueteacher.me to the list of websites your browser will treat as secure
  3. Relaunch your browser


If you're using another browser, this link provides a quick fix for them.
